It’s been a while since I posted anything. I’ve been really busy starting my final project in school, and there’s been tons of freelance work (will definately post that when I get the all-clear from the client).

It’s ironical that what I’m posting now is a personal project, since I have no idea how I managed to put the time down for it. It’s actually a drawing I’ve been working on for quite some time. It started as a sketch I made, just after my mom died a couple of years ago. At some point I scanned the sketch, and placed it in an Illustrator document. It’s been something that I’ve put a couple of minutes work into whenever I could find the time, and now it’s done.
I’m also posting the sketch, since that’s the piece of the artwork that actually means something to me. The finished render is just a lot of gradients and clipping masks

In true movie-sequel style I’ve chosen to make another robot poster. I rarely find the time to do personal projects, which it seems is every designers regret. When I do find the time to do exactly what I want, I also think the passion shows. I’m quite satisfied with this, and would love to do commisioned work like this!

I made this as a sketch for a banner. It’s an excellent example of how you can keep working on something that  you should’ve killed in the beginning. It’s a banner for my blog and that’s why I wanted it to be something weird that also portraits the style I work in (mixing illustrator/photoshop etc). I’ve decided to go with something else instead, and I’ll be sure to post it here when it’s done. For now, I give you… Bearcod!.. or Codbear?

I made this for my friend Jens for an Austrian beer label which had a label competition. He ended up using a photo instead (and apparently winning the competition - he usually does)

A picture of myself i made because i*m finishing my internship at the Danish newspaper ‘Politiken’, and i want to send an email to the other employees saying ‘thanks and see you later’.

My internship has really helped me evolve as an illustrator and graphic designer. It has been really great to experience a workplace as large as this and to see my on work in print every day.
